Today we departed on the Baja Fish Gear 8-day open. After baiting up and heading out, we found an area of fish that was reluctant to bite. As is the norm for this boat, when we don't like what we are seeing we head off in hopes of finding something better. We will be prospecting offshore tomorrow. Hit or miss, we will be searching historically productive areas for this time of year.
