The Liberty is an 85' x 23' sportfishing vessel operated by Taro Takeuchi and Ryan Catabona. Built in 1962 by the renowned Ditmar-Donaldson boatyard in Costa Mesa, her classic all-plank wood hull reflects a level of craftsmanship rarely seen today and remains in excellent condition.

Following a complete repower in 2013, the Liberty is powered by twin diesel engines producing over 600 horsepower and cruises comfortably at 12.5 knots. She is equipped with state-of-the-art fishing electronics, modern navigation systems, and a refrigerated seawater (RSW) system that keeps your catch in pristine, sushi-grade condition.

Designed for both performance and comfort, the Liberty specializes in full-day, overnight, and multi-day trips. Amenities include a full-service galley and lounge, 36 bunks, two heads with showers, a large-capacity bait tank holding over 250 scoops, and a wet exhaust system that virtually eliminates diesel fumes on deck.
