Day's end assuaged a wealth of pent up energy with steady yankin' and crankin' on variety in beautiful, scenic conditions. Yellowtail, small, medium, and large, made up the bulk of the action while various bottom grabbers provided a few yucks and smiles. Releasing the majority of the small fish in favor of higher roads beyond the ultimate end was well worth the travel time invested. Variety mode along the spectacular coast is the call for us now, and perhaps the next couple of days.
Photo today features the last of our American bluefin landed by Charter master Craig Heberer in the fading evening light. This seventy five pound beauty fit the bill to perfection coming hard earned in blustery conditions on the heavy sinker rig.
