Another worthy round in the big fish arena going seven for ten on trophies ranging 215 - 291 pounds. In comparison to previous outings when things were right I have to say that the present set up scores high marks; one does not see it get much better. This is the dream, the occasion when all preparation and planning comes to fruition; in living color the show.

And it will go on, if conditions persist, and we will continue to advance the cause. This is one of those coveted opportunities that one does not squander. Almost straight giants in the morning hours, flat calm, and additionally exceptional action on 50 - 120 pound yellowfin with the occasional jumbo throughout the remaining daylight hours - living the dream here; in every form.

Beyond our hull signs are exceptional as well with numerous big spots up throughout the day near and far. Our plans for the near future go without saying - we are here, solo, for the duration.

Photos today first feature master veterans Warren Sakamoto and Blake Wasano with Warren's 308. Another master, wine maker Ken Volk, took a break from the vineyards to join us on this big fish outing. Success for Ken came in the form of this 255 on day one that gobbled up his sardine properly fished on 130 Blackwater flurocarbon no less than ten feet from the boat.
