A good beginning featuring the exact size and species we are after. A handful of opportunities at giant yellowfin yielded four in the hatch, the biggest of which weighed in at a respectable 292 pounds. There were a few other chances, and also good afternoon action on mixed size yellowfin from 50 - 130 pounds, making for a well rounded day overall in plenty decent conditions.

No reason to seek greener pastures we staked our claim, dug out the picks and shovels, set up the sluice, and set to the task at hand. The finite time we have for this challenge will be well spent here if fishing and conditions hold.
