Incredible weather today working down the line in full search mode. Many stones were overturned, and many small
yellowtail were released while sorting out a decent amount of 20 - 22# models and just over 30 eighteen to twenty
four pound yellowfin tuna. It was no mother lode but was a full day of action oriented fishing. Between that and
the weather we're logging this outing in the success category; but as always such is a relative term. By no means
are we yet satisfied; we've had a taste, and are hungry for plenty more.

For certain another positive spin on the day is the amount of miniature, 3-6 pound yellowtail we have encountered
stretching from 150 to 450 miles south of San Diego. While they are not presently in a size class we retain the
sheer volume - millions upon millions, maybe billions of the little devils - indicates a very healthy population,
and likely many successful future seasons on yellowtail to come.

Good prospects on the bow and continuing glorious weather in the forecast finds us optimistic about our present
position and strategy. We are ready to get down to business. I must extend an apology in place of photos today as I
indulged in a rare moment of buffoonery erasing some fine images before copying them to the hard drive. Perhaps I
can atone for my lack of attention with something special tomorrow.
