Wily, unpredictable, cunning, elusive, and frustratingly consistent in their ability to leave us hanging. Between
those qualities, and a significant realignment in the water structure that had a good body of these bluefin
corralled and accessible, we ended our day with only a few handfuls for the effort, and plenty of desire for much,
much more. It was a disappointment, but not entirely surprising for reasons mentioned yesterday. The old saying
"this isn't our first rodeo" applies.

A little sloppy weather coming, and today's lack of production, motivated a move to the south where the Baja coast
with it's bounty of yellowtail is calling; although of late the bounty has been a little short of it's traditional
billing to say the least. But the allure of primo working weather, in stark contrast to the outside, and coastal
variety to add color and scenery to the list makes the effort, hugely successful or not, worthwhile. We'll see what
tune we're signing at day's end.
