And once again, to no one's surprise, the first week of June becomes the official starting point for the summer 2013 offshore season. Excellent sign of bluefin, with a couple of stops producing a bounty of fish from 70 - 110 pounds, and even good signs of school size yellowfin indicate that this season promises to supply plenty of tuna on both the long range and local grounds. Things are looking very good in both the short and long term.
Needless to say with all the good news offshore we are chomping at the bit to join the fray and claim our share. Captain Randy Toussaint is at the helm this Saturday departing on the annual Baja Fish Gear 8 day with a full compliment of superb anglers. From then on we will be plying offshore waters adding our experience and efforts to the cause.
As for availability we have two spots that just opened up on the Sunday, June 23rd - Saturday, June 29th six day run. I could include all kinds of promotional jargon in an effort to motivate anglers to take advantage of the opportunity but in this instance the signs of bluefin and yellowfin offshore complete the task for me. It is fantastic timing, at a fantastic time of the cycle. Give Tracy a call in the office if the dates work for your schedule. Have a fine day!
