Royal Star
01/31/13
A slog today bumpin' up the line in confused seas and blustery, northeast winds. Though spirits remained intact -
these are no pilgrims to fishing offshore - pleasure was in short supply. Sloppy weather weather while traveling is
something simply tolerated; there is nothing else to do about it.
Relief in the forecast promises to liberate a few smiles tomorrow and beyond as the atmosphere thaws and anglers
emerge from their sanctuaries to enjoy the scenery outside. Meanwhile the leagues continue to pass as we make our
way up the line.
Photo today features Royal Star veteran Art Nolen who matched his personal best on this run with this robust, chunk
eating 240. On this voyage last year Art landed a 240 and a 210. To his surprise the exact same accomplishment was
repeated this year. Groundhog Day.
