We rolled out on the wrong side of the bed this morning to be sure. Wompass conditions have been a theme during the
past few days that have a way of making anything one does feel backward. This morning was no exception. But for a
few "skinnies" and just shy of a handful of tuna the noon hour rolled by making way for bounty of consternation.
Four p.m. came along and I finally resorted to the last item in my vast bag of tricks - all out sniveling. I was
over attempting to make sense of it, and over feeling out of step since this voyage began. And then like magic,
honestly no less than three minutes following my purge, they hit us for real. Finally.
We were up to speed in a flash itching to get our licks in while we could. And we did. About 25 from 140 - 208 came
aboard during the final few hours of day light with three over the mark making five total for the day. Suffice to
say that satisfaction was restored with a healthy dose of blood lust. Another patience test was passed. It all
begins anew tomorrow.
Photo for the day features long time Royal Star veteran Larry Ritter with a 234, one of his two deuces landed thus
far.
