A fine ride north that extended the weather fortune of an already blessed adventure - not only does the good weather maintain elevated spirits it guards the product quality in the RSW tanks that rest in peace rather than jostle around.
The little things add up throughout the voyage, and the better the weather the better the results. But it takes more than good weather - the starting point of producing premium quality is a level of dedication among crewmen unique to a limited few. Anglers who appreciate the harvest of the world's most precious resource as a gift to share, a gift that validates the take and the investment in time and effort to produce, understand that exceptional is not by accident - it comes with pride in performance unique to professionals.

To close this voyage I thank Shimano for providing a wealth of equipment and tackle for anglers to test and try during this broadly successful, Fall ten day run. In the big three categories - quantity, quality, and variety, this voyage scored big. The "supermarket" type fishing allowed for a strategic coup as one destination after another produced the coveted variety and catching opportunities anglers choose these voyages for. Between good timing, weather, and an excellent network of resources that enabled us to focus our time fishing, this run was exemplary of the Royal Star brand. Though our operation is entirely distinct, our consistent success comes as a result of many factors beyond our wheelhouse. Our gratitude is extended accordingly. Now Capt. Brian "Gerbie" Sims takes the lead as I assume shoreside duties during the upcoming week. Needless to say there is plenty going on to keep us busy on all fronts. Look for Capt.
