A few nice yellows to go around in the a.m. then, abruptly, they quit biting in advance of the arrival of
the tropical tyrant "Paul". Prepared for the occasion well in advance we stuck with the plan taking the
afternoon off while the remnant Tropical Depression passed directly overhead.

Regardless of the dissipated Hurricane's lack of lethal fury anglers were still treated to a brief show
of force, about four or five hours, during which everyone on board was easily convinced that where and
when we were was prudent, considerate, and welcome. One short ride around the corner as the wind shifted
then increased to forty knots with higher gusts was a demo that needed no main event.

As for visuals, with the storm center basically passing us directly overhead, an image from the "eye" is
what I have to share. Within minutes after snapping this photo it was honkin' a good thirty five and pure
white. The best part is that from our vantage point it was near flat calm. Planning and preparation
intersecting in sweet satisfaction. All's well here; all's well. Now all we need is some fish. Tomorrow.
