Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star
9/7/12
After a somewhat shaky beginning to the day we ended on a strong note with a classic "plunker" that
lasted almost five full hours. The bulk of the catch was 15 - 22# yellowfin and bluefin with about twenty
of the 40# grade bluefin randomly landed throughout the stop. It was no legendary hit but it served the
cause well closing out this voyage on another high note.
Again nailing the big three Capt. Toussaint pieced together a fine catch featuring six full days of
fishing among a wide variety of settings. Graced with agreeable to heavenly working conditions throughout
the voyage we made the most of the good times and challenges thanks to the confidant demeanor of this
fine group of long range veterans.
Our most sincere gratitude is in order while we make preparations for the annual Jason Hammond seven day
voyage departing tomorrow with Capt. Toussaint in command on this run. Final voyage photos feature long
time veteran angler Steve Berczik with one of the better grade bluefin landed during our final stop, and
Laine Pike giving her beautiful, 40# class bluefin some serious competition for looks. Capt. Toussaint's
reports will continue.
