Between the luxury of time and a booming catch of "primo" RSW Bluefin, yellowfin, yellowtail, and dorado
safe in the tanks we opted for the inside route up the line avoiding an unnecessary thumping in blustery
conditions and sloppy seas. To the delight of everyone we succeeded enjoying a day of calm, northwest
travel but for a few small "potato patches" curtly navigated.

So passes one of our long time favorite annual voyages that again hit upon the coveted big three -
variety, quantity, and quality. Timing is everything, combined of course with the drive and intuition to
make good on opportunities manifest; in the case of this voyage the Doi/Toussaint tradition/magic is
alive and well.

Our appropriate gratitude is extended to Michael Doi and his entire group. Captain Toussaint
continues his roll departing tomorrow on the Tom Walker/Floyd Abbott seven day run. Photo today features
long time Royal Star veteran Bret Rapozo pulling on what became a fine Striped Marlin successfully
released at boat side.
