Royal Star

An incredible example of classic long range variety unloaded in premium condition today. Proper accolades
to Chief Engineer Sean Bickel who has become a genuine refrigeration master when it comes to maintaining
RSW held product in the perfect state. It is no small task. Constant vigilance and tweaking of settings
is required as fish are added, water temperatures change, and new tanks are started. The main component
is serious, professional attention; and what a difference such mature dedication makes.

Though all the fish were radiant and firm probably the best examples were the dorado landed four and five
days prior. With the exception of the inevitable few that hit the deck, go berserk, and tear themselves
up while being wrestled into submission by a crewman or I, the ones that are clobbered before such antics
begin are unloaded sporting the majority of their natural silvery yellow and blue hues. Those fish in
particular are an example in any catch of a load correctly maintained.

For all of us on Royal Star the condition of our product is a significant point of pride. Unloading
today's catch was yet another affirmation of the value of our efforts to consistently deliver on this
commitment to our anglers. Knowing that the benefit will now extend far beyond the deck of Royal Star to
the dinner tables of many family and friends makes it that much better.

It is now time to make it happen again as Captain Toussaint and I head forth on this seven day run
seeking the same and better for this group of seasoned veterans. Photo today is somewhat of a spoof that
I simply have to share for the sake of some good natured ball busting. Brendan Slagle showed us how it is
done during our leisure day on the coast grinding up this hard specimen to the colossal delight of
everyone on board. Even Sean's best efforts couldn't make much of this one.
