Grease calm, beautifully scenic, and plenty productive as we leisurely worked up the coast soaking in the
grandeur and solar rays while spot fishing variety and Calico Bass. Regardless of production a good time
was had by all. It was a zero pressure, completely relaxed affair offering anglers a chance break out the
light outfits and fish for easy fun.

And while such a day does nothing to fill the RSW holds (though admittedly a few big goats found
themselves chillin' among a boat load of yellows and tuna) it does wonders for the mind and soul. Stress
free with no expectations other than making a good time of it; a perfect compliment to the prior two days
of game on type action.

As a perfect interlude to break up the distant northwest reach the day scored a solid 100% from my
perspective. And judging by the calm satisfaction of anglers throughout the day I believe they, the most
important vote by a long shot, most certainly agree.

Now the final leg north will bring us to the offshore Bluefin grounds that have been consistently
productive for just about everyone with good scratch style fishing every day this week. To close the
fishing portion of this run with a good shot at the BFT would most certainly propel us into the
exceptional category by nailing the coveted three.
