First off we are mighty glad to be here catching fish. Of course every destination comes with obstacles,
"it is always something", as we are fond of saying. But persistence and endurance of fairly sloppy
conditions led to a fine day of catching in the end. Yellowtail and coastal variety were again the quarry
as the appeal of good fish sign and close refuge motivated the move. Between the yellowtail, a few big
halibut, and even a couple of nice croakers (White Sea Bass) the fish and catching was enjoyed by all.

As for the offshore effort we are still waiting; waiting for a favorable weather window that
unfortunately appears is not due to come until at least Saturday or even Sunday on the lower grounds. As
of now the bottom line is this: if we are going to catch them, we are going to have to earn them the hard
way. Such is fishing, such is life; at least the living I know anyway.

Taking all into account we couldn't yet pry ourselves away from the pleasure of this fishing and scenery.
One more day on the coast then we'll hit the high seas in search of what is featured in today's photo.
