I am going to deviate from the tagging voyage in text today as I want to pass on some important 2009-2010 schedule changes on Royal Star. With the overall economic climate being what it is and the price of fuel appearing to stabilize well below projections, we have adjusted prices on select voyages as well as returning to our "all inclusive" pricing format. All fares include permit costs and island bracelets when necessary. There will be no fuel surcharges unless the cost of diesel skyrockets to well above $3.00/gallon. In short, the printed fare is what you will pay for the entire voyage - no surprises when you sign in.

We have added a series of 1 1/2 day voyages to our June schedule dropping two voyages that were struggling to make it. The website has all the new dates and prices that are a fantastic deal for an all inclusive 1 1/2 day with a limited, 24 angler load. If you haven't fished on Royal Star and would like to, this is a great opportunity to join us and see how we run our operation. On these 1 1/2 day voyages, we run things exactly the same as we would a longer trip in an effort to introduce anglers to the overall long range experience. Throw in some good offshore fishing for albacore, bluefin, yellowfin, and yellowtail and the opportunity can't be beat! We'll see how that part develops over the next month.

Also, if a longer voyage is in your future game plan take a look at some of the new prices at the end of 2009 and in Winter/Spring 2010. Again with the challenges this industry is facing it is a customers market. This is an ideal time to take advantage of lower prices while enjoying the premium quality long range adventure we consistently provide on Royal Star.
