When reviewing the daily reports I sent during the voyage yesterday I noticed that the entry for February 22nd was not included. For those of you following along the report was sent but once again became a victim of the satellite communications domain. Not to fear however as the report was resent yesterday and posted in it's proper order. All's well. Also, today's photos should grab your attention. I spent a few minutes in the water taking shots from a different angle than the previous three years. Some are so compelling, even with a few water spots, that I have to include them. My favorite sequence features Capt. Brian Sims, IATTC scientist Danny Fuller, and Capt. Sean Bickel pulling for all they are worth on angler's Ross Petersen and Jeff Tedmori's combined effort on a 287. The underwater and on deck shots feature the same fish. In my estimation this sequence captures the process of tagging one of these giants without equal. I was almost speechless after reviewing these. Wow!
