Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

As predicted "Old Lucky" timed it right beginning their time in the lower zone with a very good day on yellowfin tuna in the thirty to eighty pound class with about half of the catch being fifty to seventy pounds. The weather is grease calm and forecast to remain as such for at least three full days, and every other factor continues to shine in their favor. So, the stage is definitely set for more good action if the fish are generous and stay in a biting mood. Finally, again there was an indication of bigger fish in the area with one stop in particular that featured a few handfuls of yellowfin well over one hundred pounds crashing around on loose baits showing no interest in what was presented on the hooks. As was the case last season, it is very likely that it is only a matter of time before some big boys start coming over the rail. We will see.
