Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

Capt. Brian Sims stepped on the brakes spending a pleasant afternoon the the calm lee of the big island in search of yellowtail and other coastal species. With the offshore weather on the disagreeable side, plenty of time to work with, and perfect positioning to manufacture ideal weather of their own, Capt. Sims' plan has sound fundamentals. Now of course we will see if the fish agree. Regardless, the big push is definitely focused on quality yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and dorado offshore down below. As we have recognized through our many years of effort in that region, calm weather is essential to success, and with better working conditions in the forecast, they have high hopes for the right setup on the back end of the trip. So, at the very least, the guys are positioning themselves for success as well as comfortable conditions while mother nature gets the wind out of her system during the next couple of days. We will continue reporting with optimism as the information on board is provided.
