Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

A gruesome end was looming as the three o?clock hour rolled around and the guys were fishless following a long morning of northward travel from Guadalupe. With a better showing on the albacore earlier in the day, there was much promise for a happy ending, but optimism was waning as the fish dropped back down to the deeps just after noon. To make a long story short they saved it. Captain Toussaint got on one of those rolls he is well known for and began to string together good stops loading up by day?s end with a huge sense of victory and relief combined. Once again the eleventh hour saved not only the day, but likely the trip and one can only give thanks accordingly. So, now another shift change arrives as I take the helm for our annual Mike Ross five day voyage. The stage is set so we will see how the trip unfolds and, of course, continue to pass along the details.
