Well, Isla Guadalupe was definitely not our savior producing virtually nothing in the way of catching. Of course it was a nice scenic tour, and a chance to stop the boat and fish while anchored, but that is small consolation when the all important catching part of the equation is absent. So, back to the drawing board as the guys steam north is search of mercy from the albacore that, as all of us who have targeted them in the past know, have the potential to save any few days of slow fishing when they get in the mood to bite.
