Royal Star Fish Report

12-7-2006
Royal Star

We got off on the right foot with some good afternoon action on twelve to twenty five pound yellowfin optimistically electing to release and send a few to the galley in preparation for what we hope will be good action on Giant yellowfin tomorrow and beyond. By all accounts the fish made a showing down below again today but seemed a little less eager to bite than the previous three or four days. With a perfect forecast predicting flat calm conditions over the next few days, we should have the right conditions to see and work in the beginning of our trip. A quick stop on the way towards the big fish grounds loaded us up on bigger baits so now there are no excuses remaining; it is simply up to the fish gods. Let us hope our timing is on the mark as we have every advantage one can think of presently in our favor. Time will tell.
