Royal Star
First and foremost we awoke to a beautiful morning featuring flat calm conditions that set the tone for a good day of fishing right out of the gates. Of course flat calm weather does not always result in good fishing, but in yesterday's case it certainly did. As predicted, the perfect conditions enabled us to put our every advantage to work and it wasn't long before we were loaded up on twenty five pound class dorado heading up in search of other opportunities. In the end it appeared that every bank was on fire as we found very good action on school size, 12 - 18# yellowfin tuna as well as yellowtail wherever we tried. Needless to say it made for a very good day of fishing loaded with action and good fun. With a group of anglers thoroughly energized by the day's success, we headed north once again looking to finish off our voyage with some kind of action, preferably good, in the trophy yellowtail department. A fantastic weather forecast is promising ideal traveling conditions for the ride north tonight.
