The guys are making their way north in very good traveling weather following a second full day of fishing at the bank that slowed considerably, but was still successful. Fair scratching was how it was characterized by Captain Toussaint who said conditions were good and the fish plentiful, but much more reluctant to bite than the previous day. Taking the cue in the early evening, Randy headed the boat north content with two brimming wells of beautiful fish including ten or twelve in the two hundred pound range. They certainly could have put in another night and morning down below but Randy wisely chose to head north, satisfied with the plentiful quantity of big yellowfin presently on board. As reported yesterday, the boat will have time for a full day of offshore searching today planning for a swing by Alijos rocks in the mid afternoon hoping for a few wahoo. Beyond today with weather permitting, they should have time for close to another full day somewhere along the beach tomorrow. We will keep you posted accordingly.
