Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

A nice day of offshore tuna fishing targeting school fish in the twenty to forty pound class. The weather was just short of perfect and signs of life are very encouraging although I can't say we see any significant sign of fish in excess of seventy or eighty pounds. There were several different times when we had a fair quantity of the bigger fish under us, but it seemed yesterday that the bigger they were, the less likely they were to bite. Of course every day is different and as such we plan to give it at least one more day in this zone targeting offshore tuna and whatever else we may come across. With even better weather in the forecast, now is definitely the time to put forth the effort offshore.
