Royal Star Fish Report

We had a much better go of it today feeling less like sniveling at day's end with a morning and afternoon of decent scratch fishing for yellowfin tuna in the 80 - 135# size class. In fact the morning fish were all beauties averaging 100 pounds or better. Amazingly we had almost no shark problem today losing perhaps three or four fish total to the nuisance beasts as opposed to three out of four fish yesterday. As to why I can not definitively say, but as long as they are not harassing us we will be thankful for the break. With the weather getting sloppy and no hurry to make tracks elsewhere, we plan to hunker down tomorrow hoping our good luck on the big fish gets even better before considering any kind of move to the inside.
