Royal Star Fish Report

We scratched out a nice day on these beautiful fifty to sixty pound yellowfin at Guadalupe but were a little disappointed but an unfavorable, mid afternoon current change that put the brakes on what was promising to be a big day. Such is the nature of spot fishing within the fleet where we often find ourselves at the mercy of conditions waiting for the unknown to occur in our favor. Nevertheless, it is a noteworthy fact that what we have to settle for in numbers at present, is the same figure that was considered fantastic at the island just a few weeks back. In fact, any day we can visit this island and land an average of better than two of this size class yellowfin per man, after the Great Whites impose a thirty percent tax, I vow not to complain. As such we are staying put tonight with no plans other than to target this incredible yellowfin tuna at Guadalupe again tomorrow.
