Royal Star Fish Report

Today's results were hugely therapeutic and a welcome reminder to several fisherman, after two challenging days at Guadalupe, that they do indeed know and remember how to fish with live bait from a sport boat. You see, Guadalupe, even on it's good day's, can really put an angler to the test, and if we are unfortunate enough to visit the island on an off day, many anglers will likely leave the island either talking to themselves or suffering pangs of inadequacy. In cases like these, there is nothing better than a day of good, steady fishing to rejuvenate spirits and get anglers back in the game. Yellowtail action, beginning immediately upon arrival and lasting through the early afternoon, was exactly what the doctor ordered and we headed up the line after dark content with our day looking forward to our final day of searching offshore. With good weather in the forecast and plenty of ground to cover we are hoping for a little more luck to come our way before calling it a trip tomorrow.
