Royal Star Fish Report

Well I can honestly speculate that following a twenty hour, E-ticket ride to the outside, this group of anglers, who have definitely earned their stripes in the weather department, were glad to arrive at our own private island sanctuary, good fishing, slow fishing, or otherwise. Actually it wasn't all that bad but it made for a long day of looking that was pathetically ineffective in such conditions. Nevertheless we did our best and checked out plenty of good area with jigs in the water coming up with absolutely nothing for our efforts. Upon arrival at the island however, we were pleasantly greeted by encouraging signs of what we were hoping for; yellowfin tuna in the thirty to sixty pound class obviously visible while chasing bait around the traditional catching zones. Although we did not have any catching success with only a short time to work in the late evening, we are definitely feeling optimistic about our prospects here tomorrow. Beyond this we are also feeling much better about the weather on the outside that is finally forecast to abate by day's end and last at least through the weekend.
