Royal Star
No grand performance here but we managed to keep interest alive with a fair morning scratch on the kite rigs that generated high hopes for the big afternoon that we have been hoping for. As it turned out, we fell flat on our face after lunch enduring a long afternoon of waiting that led into dusk and more of the same. Just in the nick of time however, we fortunately ended the day on a great note with Lonnie Robnett and Kevin Cosca picking up a two sixty three and a two thirty seven just after dark. Fishing tales such as these simply remind us that perseverance in the big fish game is likely the most crucial factor in the equation of success. So here we remain with three more days to give it our all before throwing in the towel. As reported before, there is certainly enough sign of this big fish around to keep us enthusiastic and optimistic about our chances. Even at our present pace, we would be more than happy with the results if this were to continue.
