This was more like it today with the quantity and quality much closer to our expectations than what we had experienced so far. Steady afternoon kite action with a sprinkling of sardine and chunk fish provided a much needed boost in enthusiasm as anglers got their first chance to get in the trophy yellowfin game. Four over two hundred with a couple of other solid opportunities got everyone back in big fish mode as the wahoo fishing, being the only action available, has stolen the show for the past couple of days. Needless to say we are hoping this is a trend as we have plenty of time to plug away at them if they want to continue biting. With plenty of breeze to keep our kites aloft, local bait readily available, and a perfect load of sardines, the banquet is laid out for any and all takers. Of course we would prefer only big yellowfin tuna and wahoo.
