Royal Star
The setting is pretty grave now as our day focusing on quality was a long haul that produced only a handful of fish for a few lucky anglers. I hate to say it but Guadalupe may be following the same pattern as the local fishing above as we are seeing less and less fish with each visit, conditions are changing rapidly, and water temps are dropping. Of course it is easy to feel this way following our last two visits, and it may be that there is more good fishing in store for us on the outside, but presently I wouldn't bet on it. Now we are making our move inside with plans to target coastal yellowtail tomorrow and possibly the following day. Needless to say we are mighty hopeful that the fish are up and in a biting mood tomorrow as we are out of wiggle room on this voyage.
