Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star
Greetings to all and I must say that it is a great pleasure and huge relief to be back up and running away from the dock. Royal Star is presently underway for Panama with Captain Toussaint at the helm while I tend to a few more duties before flying down to join the vessel on all four 2004 Panama voyages.
After undergoing the most extensive maintenance since we took possession in 1996, Royal Star is in the finest condition both mechanically and cosmetically that I have seen in twelve years. Honestly she is as close to a new vessel as can be with a one hundred percent renovation of the galley and top deck heads as well as lighting, floor covering, wall covering, and overhead below decks. New commercial galley equipment, a overhaul of the air conditioning system topside, new reverse osmosis fresh water maker, state of the art new freezers topside, and most significantly to our customers appreciating the new system of fresh fish delivery we introduced to the world of long range fishing, a brand new refrigeration system for our fish storage tanks with capabilities leagues beyond our previous system and our competition. Once established, this new system will once again set the standard for quality by removing heat from our catch at a rate far greater than before insuring that the premium quality for which we strive will always be realized by our customers.
All told we put forth a tremendous amount of capital and effort this year to ensure all our valued anglers that Royal Star will not be left behind remaining at the forefront of our industry both with innovative, visionary ideas as well as equipment and accommodations that customers expect from a premier quality long range sport fishing vessel.
I am including some photos today of the new Royal Star galley and will send along a few more of other improvements over the next couple of days. In the meantime, Captain Toussaint is presently off the coast of mainland Mexico making way for Panama while prospecting for bait. On that note, Royal Star is now carrying a bait skiff and Lampara net for catching Anchoveta upon our arrival in Panama. We have already received some very encouraging fishing reports from the region in which we plan to fish, so with a little luck conditions and fishing will continue to improve over the next two weeks.
