Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star
All in all a very frustrating day of fishing consisting of numerous shows of big fish with very little interest in biting what we had to offer. There were a few bright moments including a 192 and a 172 otherwise our catch was dedicating to the tagging effort and released in the name of science. We did take advantage of the mid day lull today spending a few hours on the most beautiful beach one can imagine exploring, snorkeling, fishing, and relaxing before heading a short four miles back to the grounds for the afternoon. Tomorrow we will continue the search most likely heading back to our previous voyages most productive area to see if conditions changed in our favor. As reported yesterday our fate now lies in the fish gods hands as we are fully prepared to take advantage of whatever opportunities we encounter.
One slice of good news is that the photos believed lost from three days prior magically appeared this morning. As such today's photo features long time long range and Panama veteran Dennis Braid who broke the ice this trip with the first 200# class fish. This beauty came in at 228 and was taken with a caballito fished on the kite.
