Hello everyone, well it was a up and down ride last night, but that's the weather. By mid-morning, the weather started to look a little bit better. We didn't arrive to the Albacore grounds until 12:00 hours. We did make a few stops on kelps on the way up, but it was a no go on the kelps. The first few hours of fishing was some what slow, if you know what I mean. But, by late afternoon, we started seeing more life, and catch quality grade Albacore.

Most of the Albacore were on bird schools, and meter marks. It was stop and go most of the afternoon, but by dinner, we would have a good catch of Albacore for today. Most of the Albacore were in the 22 to 30 pound range, with a few going over 35 pounds.

After dinner, some of our passenger had never seen a giant Squid before, so you know Roy, he made it for our new passenger, and they could not believe the size of some of the Squid we were catching. It was catch and release, but the one's that didn't make, they will be joining us for lunch tomorrow, if you know what I mean.

Our weather today was a bit chilly, with a slight breeze out of the northwest at 8 to 12 knots, with over cast skies most of the day. The weather now is just wonderful, with no wind, flat seas and great for sleeping, and that's what I'm going to do. So until tomorrow, good luck and good night. The R/p crew.
