The Excel has a good day fishing for Yellowtail, tomorrow they'll head for Alijos

Justin called in from the Excel with this report. "we hit the Islands yesterday. There was a pretty good sign of Yellowtail all around. The water was starting to cool off and green up a little bit. It looked like some change was coming.
"So we opted to head for the Ridge today. It was a long ways to get down here. But the drive was worth it. We got down here about * o'clock this morning and we had very good Yellowtail fishing. You could catch all you wanted. It was a good grade, 18 to 30 lbs and a good biting fish.
"We're on our way offshore to see if we can;t find a kelp paddy or two. Maybe we'll get some Yellowfin or Dorado. It looks right now as if we'll end up at Alijos Rocks. Everybody is excited & doing well. More importantly they all have lots of fish to take home and the weather is flat calm.
