Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone, we arrived to Hurricane bank right at lunch time. It didn't
take long for us to hook our first Wahoo of the year. Roy trolled around
the bank for about an hour. The Wahoo bite was steady. We ended up with 15
Wahoo for our efforts. Once we found a good area to drop the anchor, it
didn't take long for the Giants to show up. Dan Gaudy was the first lucky
angler to land a 200 pounder. We caught fish on the chunk, Sardine, Squid,
and our new lucky bait. We ended up with 10 Yellowfin over 200 pounds for
the day. We put 17 Yellowfin on the boat today, with the other 7 in the 150
to 190 range. We are now looking for Flying fish, we are hoping to catch a
few for kite baits tomorrow. Lucky anglers today were Dan Gaudy (2 fish
over 200 pounds), Joe Mc Bride, John Mulay, Muary Newton, Joe Amagrande, Tom Edgcomb, Mike Oblas, Steve George, and Steve Oba. We all are looking
forward to tomorrow, so wish us luck, and we will keep you updated on our
upcoming events.
