Bill Cavanaugh called in as he was bringing up supplies for the Pacific Queen's trip from Ventura Harbor tonight. He called because he received more recent reports about the Albacore fishing at Davidson. As we understand it; 2 bait boats went out fishing the Davidson on Saturday and those boats landed 200 to 300 fish for each boat, just a few days ago. The important thing was that they were bait fishing which is along the lines of what the Pacific Queen will be doing.

Michelle Rawley reported that her dad John took the "Fiesta" out, a 50 ft. charter boat. We think he just went out with Crew to test the waters. They caught over 40 fish for 6 or 7 guys. They were only 35 miles from Morro Bay Harbor and they did not have any live bait.
