Update on the Pacific Queen 1 Day Trip 9/21/2011

9-21-2011
Bill Cavanaugh - Pacific Dawn

Bill Cavanaugh called in to give us an update on Pacific Queen fishing, "It is Wednesday just after noon 12:30 we are on a one day offshore trip. We have had very good Bluefin tuna fishing, I wanted to check-in I let the guys at Fisherman's Landing know about it earlier today. Anyway we are up to 40 Bluefin right now and we have been drifting on fish here all day. Honestly I would have to say that the fishing we had here today was better than what our fish count is indicating. I've been down on deck hooking and handing probably 50% of what we have on board. I think I can honestly say that I hooked 20 fish here today. I haven't been doing anything grand or special, 25 lb. line a little fluorocarbon a smaller # 1 hook or a # 2 hook with a well presented bait. It has been pretty good fishing we just don't have a lot of guys that are very experienced. So they are somewhat struggling in that department. We're hooking fish, we are having a good time. We have 40 Bluefin on board so I wanted to check in with that report.

"We have nice weather and we have a 1.5 day trip leaving tonight, we have openings on that trip if you are interested. If you want to get on that trip give Chris, Andrew or Aaron a call at Fisherman's Landing (619) 221-8500."
