Beautiful flat calm weather

Hello Anglers,

Today we enjoyed beautiful flat calm weather here at Benitos Island along with outstanding Yellowtail fishing. We took a tour around the island and did not see any fish on the usual spots .Just when we thought things were not going to be in our favor for the day we started to see birds looking off of the island a few miles so we ran out there to have a look. We arrived in the area to find spots of yellows feeding on the surface and they were not very boat shy, as we were sliding into the various spots of fish they were so close to the boat that we could have scooped them with nets. They put on a good show, boiling around the boat, chasing the jigs on the surface and free swimming next to the boat. Our anglers were rigged with everything from fly lined mackerel, to surface irons, to sliding egg sinkers and sardines and they were all working. Tomorrow we are going to be looking for Albacore offshore so hopefully we will have a good report for you all.
