Hello Anglers,

This morning we arrived at Guadalupe Island around 8:30 and looked around the north head.It wasn't long before we found a nice school of yellowfin tuna just outside of Pilot Rock.We quickly got the anchor down,and here it came......WIND!!!!!There was more wind today than any of us had ever felt.Gusts up to 80 knots made it nearly impossible to hold on anchor.After several frustrating attempts,we finally hung and picked at the tuna and some really nice yellowtails.The yellows ranged from 25-45 pounds.The tuna were for the most part 40 pounds,with eight bigger fish in the 70-100 pound class.We are staying the night here and hoping to again have steady action tomorrow.Below is a picture of Raul Rivera with a beautiful Guadalupe tuna.Wish us luck...
