Hello Anglers,
Today we fished our way down to Cedros Island and arrived at the island at 1330. On our commute to the island we did not catch or see much life with the exception of an area of bait on a temperature break. When we arrived at the island we did not see much life on the upper spots but when we moved down the island to the flat calm weather and good current direction we started to see some fish. When we got the anchor down we saw a spot of 18 to 30 pound yellows come up on a spot of bait inside shallow water so we picked up the anchor and moved into 12 fathoms and dropped the anchor. We started to pick fish right away and seemed to keep one fish going all the time for a couple of hours. Along with the yellows we had very good calico bass in the 3 to 6 pound range biting to keep the people on their toes. At 1700 the fish stopped biting and we never caught another yellow the rest of the night. Tonight we are going to stay here and see what we can catch in the morning. I am sending some pictures of the last few days of the trip and we will continue to send them for the remainder. Shawn
