Hello Anglers,

Today we spent the day on the beach looking for some yellowtail. Our weather was a little windy but there was no swell with it so it was plenty tolerable for us. We tried several spots for yellows and only found two that wanted to bite. So we had our two yellows and the day was winding down and we were starting to have our doubts for our day and then at 1700 we had a spot of fish that put on a spectacular show for us. Not five feet from the boat these 18 to 24 pound yellows were chasing baits and ripping through the water. Sardines, yo yo jigs, surface jigs and anything else you wanted to throw out there was getting bit. A very good bite on big yellows that could not have come at a better time. Along with the yellows were big calico bass up to 6 pounds and one 80 pound black sea bass that was safely released back into the water. So we ended up pulling a rabbit out our hat and made a memorable day in the eyes of some of the passengers. Tomorrow we are going to try for a few Red Snapper for some color in our catch and we will be in on Friday morning at 0630 Shawn and the crew
