Classic ridge style fishing

Hello Anglers,
The last two days we have spent along the ridge for some classic ridge style fishing. We had a nice kelp that was loaded with dorado and had a few wahoo as well. As soon as we circled the kelp, dorado from 12 to 20 pounds charged the boat and every bait that hit the water was bit. We were able to land 1 wahoo out of about 7 hooked and put 80 dorado in the fresh well, all in about a half hour. Along the ridge we were able to pick away at a wide variety of fish, landing 30 yellowfin, 150 yellowtail, 48 pargo, 2 wahoo, 15 dorado and a 50 pound gulf grouper for the morning. We pulled the anchor after lunch and are going trophy hunting. Unfortunately we have having to deal with a bit of wind and swell that is making our ride uncomfortable but the weather is supposed to come back down tomorrow. -Justin
