Tuna slow but wahoo go
"Tuna fishing today was terribly slow," was the report from the Royal Polaris February 13, "but we made great use of our time with our favorite alternate species. We got 41 Hoo today and a couple of the stops were classic chaos. Of particular note today was the wahoo catching ability of Gail Lynch. He started the morning with no tagged fish and got a full limit of hoo today. Also of continuing note is Peter Douglas who continues to be on fire winning daily prizes and catching the only tuna worth mentioning, a 168-pound beauty which earned him a Calstar blank. The scarcity of tuna has caused us to be on the road again, and we will begin fishing at our new destination tomorrow around lunch time. Wish us some better fishing for the big boys, and we wouldn't mind a quick prayer that our fabulous weather continues."
