Today was more of a hiding day as opposed to a fishing day for us. Strong winds from the South West and occasional wind squalls made it rather difficult to drift in. That being said we still made the most out of the conditions. We were able to pick off one lone wahoo as well as a few 18-35 pound yellowfin tuna. Numbers do not reflect the sign we encountered. Lots of loose scattered out fish that covers a long area of water. Anyhow we decided to roll the gauntlet and start running up towards the beach to hopefully find a few trophy white seabass and more yellowtail. On our travels up we located one large mill of porpoise that was holding lots and lots of yellowfin tuna.

We gave them a quick check and if we had a hungry group I’m sure we could’ve done plenty of damage. But since we’re sport fisherman we tagged a few and decided to keep rolling up. Little bumpy ride so far but nothing this big metal boat can’t handle.
