A little bit friendlier ocean today not that yesterday was choppy but definitely a couple notches down on the wind. Very similar situations today as well with the fishing. With there being almost no current it was very hard to get a bait away from the boat and the fish to attack until late in the afternoon. Luckily for us we were still able to keep at least one on the line pretty regularly. The game changer for today was definitely the kite. Having those baits just outside the fly line guys made all the difference in the world. In total we produced another 35 gorgeous 70-110 pound tuna and a handful of exotics.

Tomorrow we will be sticking with the same program hopefully having some current to push our baits out a little further. Catch of the day goes to Larry Nye and his 90 pound amberjack via the dropper loop. Tune back in tomorrow.
