Another fantastic finisher aboard the Royal Star. Started the morning off fishing hard bottom areas for both yellowtail and tasty bottom grabbers. After a few nice drifts on the lings we finally located a nice ball of yellows that gave us a few opportunities. Rocky bottom and lighter setups definitely did not help us in the numbers but we still managed 11 nice 15-25 pounds yellows. But our true trophies were two nice white seabass caught by two first time Royal Star anglers. Congrats to both Jeff and Tom.

After our bottom fishing adventure we trolled the jigs around for a few hours before calling it a trip. From my perspective, this is the best 4 day trip we’ve had all year. Between the weather, fishing, size of the fish, food, you name it and we exceeded in all of those categories. Huge thanks to all of you who decided to jump along this rare open party opportunity. We hope to see you all again in the near future!
